What is sea moss?
Sea moss is not a moss, but a red algae. Plants in the ocean are older than plants on earth, and full of powerful nutrients. Eating seaweeds a great way to add add nutrients and minerals to your diet.
Difference between sea moss and Irish moss?
Sea moss grows in warm, tropical oceans and have thick, stick-like branches. You can often find it in gold, purple and green varieties. Irish moss grows in colder, northern oceans and has dark red, flat curly leaves. Both are part of the red algae family which makes them very similar in nutritional value. If you search for any information on sea moss, you will find the same for Irish moss.
What is your shipping policy?
Orders are shipped within 1-2 business days for most orders. Wholesale orders may take 3-4 business days. Gels are made to order and can take between 3-5 business days for processing. Orders need to be placed before 12pm EST for same day processing.
The ETA shown at checkout does NOT reflect the time it takes to process your order. Please add processing time to any shipping timeline for a more accurate ETA.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Customs and import fees are standard with these orders. We are not in control of these costs as they are billed by the receiving country. We cannot provide refunds for items abandoned at customs.
What is your return policy?
Returns accepted if product is defective or damaged within 15 days of purchase date for a refund of the purchase price. Ocean salt, ocean smell and ocean taste does not make it defective. Gels are non-refundable.
Where does Atlantic Gold Sea Moss come from?
Our sea moss is harvested from the pristine ocean in St. Lucia. Sea moss is a highly regulated industry. All shipments are inspected and stamped by Ministry of Agriculture on the island and again inspected by Dept of Agriculture when in arrives in the U.S.
What are sea moss benefits?
Sea moss contains minerals that can help the body reduce inflammation, reduce congestion, balance hormones and regulate blood pressure. These minerals include, but not limited to, Iodine, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Manganese, Copper and Zinc.
How to make sea moss gel?
- Rinse sea moss to remove extra salt and sand
- Soak for 3 to 6 hours. Check after 3 hours as some moss hydrate quicker.
- Drain soaking water and rinse again thoroughly
- Blend with spring water - 1 cup moss with 1 1/2 cup water
- Keep in fridge, stays fresh for up to 4 weeks.
Can you use sea moss face mask?
Absolutely! Sea moss tightens the skin, minimize pores, while it absorbs all the minerals. You can take some sea moss gel, add some warm water to make spreadable and room temperature. Spread a light layer onto your face and neck. Leave on for 15 - 20 min, rinse off will cool water and pat dry.
Who should not consume Irish moss, sea moss and bladderwrack?
Anyone who is sensitive to Iodine or have an overactive thyroid or has chronic low blood pressure.
